On the first weekend on June at Claremont show grounds a comp called three versus three showdown was held and Laceys had 8 teams compete in three divisions. Each division had a different variation of 5 workouts that tested strength, endurance, Intensity, cardio and gymnastics skills. The teams did amazing and it was awesome watching
On the weekend of the 12th of June, 8 of the Laceys crew, Cass, Charlene, Taylor, Richard, Dave, Craig, Mike and JC, competed in one of the biggest events of WA’s crossfit competition calendar, the Primal Throwdown, at Claremont Showgrounds. Day one was a gruelling 3 wods, testing the limits of their bodies and determination.
The Crossfit Open is a world wide competition with over 200,000 athletes competing. Held in February of each year, Lacey’s gym had 13 athletes that competed this year over the duration of 5 weeks.
