Continue to build on the basic skills taught in the kids classes. In addition, juniors are allowed to spar, but are not obligated to do so. Sparring allows the juniors to put into practice all that they learn in classes. The coach will determine if you have sufficiently developed their skills to an appropriate level before they are allowed to spar. If they are not interested in sparring, boxing can is a great form of cross-training that complements almost all other sports.
